LTTE air wing is still intact
The LTTE has conducted its fifth air bombing of a Sri Lanka military installation, whereas,the Sri Lanka Air Force has been unable to, intercept the Tiger aircraft. On April 25th, two LTTE light aircraft of the type Zlin Z-143L, took off from Mullaitivu, around 1.25 a.m., in total darkness and flew at a low level.

Tigers' deep sea mines pose new threat to Sri Lanka
The Tamil Tigers' deep sea underwater capability demonstrated off the eastern Sri Lankan coast Saturday might have added a new dimension to the military conflict, The Sunday Times said.The navy could be facing a new challenge in the coming months if the Tamil guerrillas continue to attack Sri Lankan vessels with sea mines or human torpedoes, the weekly paper said.

5 people killed in roadside blast in rebel-held northern Sri Lanka, guerrillas say
Sri Lankan soldiers set off a roadside bomb targeting a medical vehicle in a Tamil rebel-held region of northern Sri Lanka on Tuesday, killing five people, the Tamil Tiger rebels reported. The military said it was unaware of the blast.

Sri Lanka air raid kills girl
Sri Lankan warplanes bombed rebel-held territory in the north of the island for a third consecutive day on Thursday, and the Tamil Tigers said a teenage girl had been killed in the air raids.
